A prolific bloomer, covered with clusters of fragrant pink 1/2 inch wide flowers in May.  Striking variegated foliage forms a dense mounded shape.  Requires a cool, dry or well drained site and preferably alkaline soil.  Excessive moisture must be avoided.  Grows in sun or part shade.
