Lilac, Katherine Havemeyer (Syringa vulgaris 'Katherine Havemeyer')

This lilac has large, double flowers with rose colored buds opening to a lavender-pink, flushed with mauve. This lilac shrub is lightly scented.  Flowers are expected to bloom around May. The foliage is large and heart-shaped which adds a nice touch against the large blooms.
