Rounded, open shape.  Dark green foliage from above, grayish underneath.  Yellowish-brown to purple fall foliage.  Interesting appearance due to corky branches.  Tolerates a wide range of soil types and air pollutants.  Slow-growing.  Very tough and adaptable.
