Pine Ponderosa (Pinus ponderosa)

Long needled, broad-topped pine.  Well suited to the arid conditions found in this area.  Beautiful, bright green needles, especially in early Spring.  More drought tolerant than Spruce.  Conical as a young tree, more rounded when mature.
